Happy Holidays!

Merry Christmas! I am so excited for this holiday. I am so glad Gen got everyone copies of the 24 Days of Christmas stories. I've been reading them in the evenings with the kids and it is so nice the see the effect they have on the kids. They are so much more willing to think of others before themselves. They are planning what they are going to do for their brothers and sisters. It is so cute. The daily reminders in story form is very inspiring for them. I love the shopping and making things for Andrew and the kids. I want to start a food tradition this year as well. I want to pick a really delicious treat or dish that we can make every year. Something that they will look forward to and will have them standing around in the kitchen talking and laughing and helping each other.

Hooray for Christmas! We love the food tradition also - last year I feel I didn't make anything seasonal. You know, having tacos and spaghetti, so I'm doing more with pumpkin and cranberries. Love it! Laurence's spotlight is cute. Still waiting for pics...

The food tradition is a cute idea. We always make trifle on Christmas eve...my favorite!
